Various Techniques and Bracket systems used as well as fixed functional (Orthopaedic) Appliances People with crooked and skew teeth….Big overbites or overshot lower jaws i.e.growth discrepancies of the jaw. All types of braces (bracketts) available to the specialist orthodontic profession including fixed functional appliances (like the MARA) that in certain cases can treat growth problems in order to avoid extensive jaw surgery. Severe cases are treated in conjunction with Maxillo Facial surgeons to correct discrepancies of the jaw that cannot be treated by means of Orthodintics alone. Clicking of jaw joint (in front of the ears) when chewing food; also pain in this joint that is caused by poor fitting teeth; people that have difficulty in chewing and cleaning their teeth…and especially those that are too shy to smile and expose their teeth. Also, smiles that are not too great can be further improved in many cases; ADULTS that are wearing their teeth down because of a wrong bites and in preparation for crown and bridge work by dentists and prosthodontists in order to make the end result of this restorative dentistry more predictable.
